Belmont Baptist Church is presently seeking to fill the position of SENIOR PASTOR.
The role of this person is to provide Godly leadership and oversight of the life, work and witness of the Church. We are seeking a person who is willing to shepherd and walk alongside us as we seek God's will in living out our Christian faith as well as presenting an effective witness into our local community.

BELMONT BAPTIST CHURCH - YOUTH WORKER
Belmont Baptist Church is seeking a suitable person to undertake Youth Work among young people within the Church and the local community. Presently the Church has a small group of young people in the 12 - 16 years age range. The Church has a vision to establish a vibrant Youth Ministry. It is our desire to see this group encouraged in their Christian faith and other young people in the community challenged in regard to their relationship to Jesus Christ.
This will initially be a part-time (initially 2 to 3 days with potential for full time) position and may suit someone engaged in study or part-time work.
We are seeking a Youth Worker who:
has a heart to see young people come to know Christ and develop a relationship with Him,
has a desire to develop a creative youth program that supports the Christian development of young people,
has the ability to develop suitable relationships with young people and their families,
feels called, by God, to minister to young people,
sees the opportunity to be instrumental in helping young people to share the gospel with others.
Purpose: To work with the leadership of the Church, having particular oversight of ministry to young people and their families.
Pastoral care and co-ordination of the Youth Work in the Church,
Develop a program that helps cater for the spiritual, social and physical needs of young people
Support families as they raise their children.
A strong active Christian faith,
Experience in involvement in and leading young people's groups, including leading Bible Studies,
Agreement with the present theology and stance of Belmont Baptist Church,
Ability to interact purposefully with youth,
Current "Working with Children" Check and "Safe Spaces" Training.
Responsible through the Senior Pastor to the Elders and Deacons.

- An outline of present position and studies
- Details of past experience with reference to young people's work
- Present Church affiliation/involvement
